Dubrovnik boat trip

We hired Ivan’s boat on a friends recommendation for a half day so we could snorkel in the Blue and Green caves and see some of the lovely islands like Kalamota & lopud and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. At this point I should say there are two Ivan’s one who sorts the bookings and taxi service collecting you from your hotel or base and delivering you to the port and Ivan no 2 who drives the boat and looks after you on the day and we found both to be very reliable, punctual and genuinely nice people who want you to get the most from your day out. Nothing is too much trouble for either and they will tailor the day exactly as you want so if there are specific places you want to visit they will oblige as long as within a feasible distance or you can rely on them to show all of the nice places to stop and visit along the way. We stopped for a late lunch on the island of Lopud and ate on Ivan’s recommendation at Obala restaurant which is a fine dining and we had one of the best meals we’d ever had which made the day even more special. Whilst you can book boat trips all over when in Dubrovnik and some but not all are cheaper if you want a Tailored experience which offers door to door collection experience in a group, that you dictate these guys are hard to beat. All in all this is a 5 star experience that we thoroughly enjoyed and when we visit Dubrovnik again, this will be high on our agenda. Thanks, Lee & Kellie.
